Single Pilot Systems |
There is many options available, it depends if you have an exisiting system which you would like to upgrade, you are looking for a fully portable system or system you want to fit to your glider, hang glider or aircraft.

While it is a requirement to use supplementary oxygen above 10,000ft it has been proven that using oxygen below this level reduces fatigues.

An oxygen system is made up primarily of five parts -

> Cylinder / Valve - you can choose between Aluminium, Kevlar or Carbon Fibre Cylinders in a variety of sizes
> Regulator - this delivers oxygen to your selected dispensing unit at a consistent pressure
> Dispenser - this controls the amount oxygen delivered to you. Options - Constant or Pulse (EDS)
> Personal Delivery - depending on your requirements you can use a cannula or facemask
> Transfiller - this is what you use to fill your bottle with oxygen
|

Please give us a call to discuss your requirements, we will advise you on what best suits your need and will give you a competitive quote.
We can also provide local advise on where to get oxygen, the process and transfilling your MH cylinder.

Constant Flow
Delivers a constant flow of oxygen and using the Flowmeter you adjust the flow to your requirements at different altitudes. Click here for image of constant flow control unit.

XCR(Cross Country Racer) - click here for image of kit
The is a high-duration carry-on oxygen system for multiple aviation uses. The XCR systems feature the AL series aluminum cylinders as standard issue. The XCR is an excellent choice for the pilot who needs a small, wearable system for Hang Gliding, Para Gliding, Sail Plane Soaring or any situation where space is at a minimum and ease of use is a must.

The XCR system is comprised of the cylinder, the radial style primary reducing XCR regulator, 5 ft. of high-quality kink-proof 4mm OD polyurethane tubing, one XCR control-holster with either a MH-3 or MH-4 Flowmeter with remote on/off valve and an "M" type Oxymizer oxygen conserving cannula. The system can be strapped to your flight-suit or hang glidingharness. There are 'D' rings on the corners of the pilot control harness/holster for mounting to an arm, leg, shoulder-strap, uprights or almost any suitable object. Straps not included. All XCR systems includes tote bag for the breathing station(s).

EDS Pulse Demand System- click here for image of EDS Unit
The EDS-02D1 System enables a pilot to fly at pressure altitudes up to 25,000 feet with safety and comfort.
The EDS-O2D1 digital Pulse- Demand™ system reduces Oxygen consumption dramatically. Different from the "standard" constant flow systems, the EDS-O2D1 Pulse-Demand™ system wastes no Oxygen during the breathing cycle when oxygen is is not being delivered to the lungs. The average user will enjoy a duration increase of two to three times compared to the constant flow systems. Click here for chart showing duration comparison between constant flow and EDS.

The built in Barometer adjusts the volume of oxygen delivered for Altitude increase reducing the pilots work load. You can set what alitiude you would like the unit start delivering oxygen.

In built safety features
It has a audible alarm to alert you to the fact that it is not sensing you are breathing, this could be because your cannula has dropped out of your nose. It also alerts you that your oxygen bottle is now empty.
